Karen Cameron,
Karen Cameron joins Terry Taylor in teaching Music Together® classes this fall. A professional jazz singer, Karen also offers voice lessons and beginning piano lessons in the Exeter studio as well as in her home studio, Studio 100, North Hampton.
Musical tours in Europe and Argentina contrasted with teaching orphans in Africa have given Karen some interesting perspectives, great stories to share and a love for children of all nations. Terry Taylor, Director
"I took my first session of Music Together with my own children 9 years ago and loved it! It connected me with what I love most: music and children. I particularly enjoy sharing music from a variety of cultures with the families. In a small but really important way we are sharing a message of peace. A message that no matter where we are from, we all love our children and music is a universal language that shares and celebrates that love."
Terry was trained by the Center for Music and Young Children in 2002 and as a mom to three girls (4, 8, 11) making music-together is an everyday part of her life. In 2006, Terry was awarded Music Together Certification Level I for outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy and parent education from the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton NJ. She is also a member of the Children's Music Network and the New Hampshire Music Teachers Association (NHMTA).
