The Exeter Family Music Center classes are hosted by the Exeter Parks and Recreation Department
Our mission is to honor, embrace and develop the creative spirit of the child with informal enrichment opportunities in Music, Art and Performing Arts.
All classes, workshops, programs, and camps are designed to be developmentally appropriate and fun for children. Each child is appreciated for and taught to their personal learning style, personality, readiness, creativity and enthusiasm. We respect and honor the natural creative process while giving the children rich opportunities to develop skills and confidence.
Younger children enjoy Music Together® Classes with a caregiver present, while older children get involved in the music making with Kindergarten Enrichment or Music for 5 - 9 year olds.
Once readiness is assessed, it's on to Piano, Voice or Violin, group or individual classes.
Parents can also enjoy Mommy/Daddy Guitar class!
Teachers can create a one day workshop for all your teachers Pre-K -3rd grade or sign up for a personal development session taught in your classroom each week.
Additional program include Elementary School Multicultural workshops with themes of Peace or the Environment, and our wonderful Summer Camps. Check out photos of this year's Little Princess Camp 2009 or our Sing Alongs.
